Summary: This was fun and interesting trip to a coffee farm. Understand, the drive to get to the coffee farm is about 2 1/2 hours each way. The tour was well worth it, but it does make for a long day and a lot of time in the car. Our tour guide and driver, Camilo, was a safe driver and interesting to talk to. The coffee farm experience was fun and educational. our coffee farm guide was very knowledgeable and spoke perfect English. . We stopped for lunch on the way, a typical Colombian lunch. If you dont have a full day to commit, this is probably not the trip for you, otherwise we highly recommend it.

Summary: Steven was a tremendous guide for this tour!!! Gave all sort of great info about Bogota and the region as we drove to Fusa. We had an opportunity to taste some wonderful local fruits before our tour which we loved. At Hacienda Coloma, Camillo took over and gave us a great time. The introduction to the tropical plants in the garden at the hacienda was interesting, and the time strolling the property was delightful. We of course then got a crash course in the coffee lifecycle, picked some coffee cherries, and saw the process to turn the seeds into the delicious brown liquid we love. Got to taste the cafe tinto along with the coffee liqueur (that we bought a bottle of) and purchased a shot of espresso. After the education on the production of high quality coffee, we could taste the care that went into the cup we drank from. The lunch afterwards was very good, and the view was a nice backdrop. Come do this tour, like now! My recommendation to travelers, if you’re prone to motion sickness come prepared as the road is in the Andes and very winding.
